Sandwich Community Radio is a creative outlet that complements the TV and streaming video side of SCTV and Media in exciting and dynamic ways! Music and the sharing of ideas and stories is a world of endless possibilities. The spoken word and music can transform you to a moment in time, a feeling, and essence of a place long forgotten. New music with a cascade of talented vocalists and bands along with musical giants from our past, will always shine and be showcased on WSCR.
Our mission is creating ways to connect with the community of Sandwich, Cape Cod and beyond. It is of primary importance to us. How can we bring more of what Sandwich and the Cape Cod region is about, to the people who live here? We aim to deliver.
We are enthused and so very excited by the interest and joy we see in people who have sent in their playlists (and even having their own weekly shows). We are radio created by people and not algorithms and that is the beauty of WSCR. We are building our program schedule playlist by playlist from people like you. Join in with a weekly show or submit a community jukebox set and become part of our growing community. And always: listen to the music!
